NASA Launched Artemis 1 In The Fourth Attempt.National Aeronautics And Space Administration (NASA ) has successfully launched Artemis l mission today at 1.47 a.m EST from the historic launch complex 39B at the NASA’s Kennedy Space Center to begin their mission to the moon .
What is Artemis 1 Mission :
The first mission is the test of NASA’s deep space exploration systems : The Orion spacecraft ,the SLS rocket and Nasa Kennedy Space Center ground systems .This is the first of many Artemis mission which will take place in the coming years .Artemis 1 is uncrewed but This Artemis 1 will help to build the foundation for human landing on the moon ,NASA is planning to send the first women and the first person of color by 2025 .
Artemis 1 will stay almost 26 days in the space ,Artemis will travel 280,000 miles from Earth and 40,000 miles beyond the far side of the Moon .Artemis will become first orion spacecraft which will stay in space longer than any human spacecraft.After completing the mission ,Artemis 1 will splash down in the Pacific Ocean on Dec 11,2022 .

When was the First and The Last Human Landed Mission to the Moon :
Apollo 11 was the first spacecraft landed on the moon on July 20,1969 with three humans .Neil Armstrong was the mission commander and became the first human to land on the moon ,Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin was the lunar module pilot and Michael Collins was the command module pilot and the last manned mission to the moon was Apollo 17,Between 7th to 19th December, 1972 ,The main reason behind to stop moon missions was huge monetary expenditure .
